My question involves court procedures for the state of: NH
Our town in NH had non-age appropriate placement in place for K-8. Our daughter is over the deadline by 21 days, and took and passed the kindergarten entrance exam. Two weeks after the testing, the school board voted and removed non-age appropriate placement and we were informed that our daughter was no longer eligible to enter kindergarten this year.
We appealed to the school board to grandfather our daughter in, as she had already passed the test at the time the new policy was in effect. We received their denial letter again this morning.
What can I do to continue this fight? My daughter loves to learn, and graduates from her pre-school tomorrow. I don't want to see her loose her love of learning this early, or give up since she worked so hard and is being told she is not good enough by people who have never even met her.
